Normal Memory Loss?
Lately I seem to be so forgetful: I go into rooms and can't remember why, I lose my keys, I forget to call people back.
Is memory loss a normal part of aging? I'm only in my early sixties and the thought of Alzheimer's is really scary.

Pinky, we all do that every day. I think when you should worry is when you forget who's room you are in and what your car keys are for.

Hi Pinky..I do that also and have done so for a while. Do you have a lot on your mind? I care for my mom who has dementia and I worry all the time this will be me. I work full time, care my my mom and Have a son who has battled drug addiction for the past 10 years. I am over weight and get scared that it's either my mind or body thats gonna go..I just had a birthday and turned 56..I am trying to listen to positive thinking tapes to ease my fears. If you feel like talking email me.
