Parkinsons and Changes in Eye Color

My Dad has Parkinsons. All this came on very fast. Just within the last 3 years he's gone from a full-time job and a full life to this blank piece of paper. In the last 6 months, he has been more out of it than in. He goes blank, he gets cold to the touch; it's like he goes into a trance. And his eyes change colors. Over the three years, they have lightened. Now, they have gone from a dark, dark brown almost a black to a funny amber color. When he has these spells they get very amber and blood shot also.

Could be his meds ? Told his doctor but no reply other than "It's part of the illness." Could anyone confirm?

Thank you,
Donna
